Luke and I went to the Maker Faire in San Mateo yesterday. It’s a fair put together by Make Magazine for do-it-yourselfers. I’m not much of a maker myself, but it was a lot of fun to look at the things everyone had done. Luke just looked around and pointed this time, but I am sure that he’ll have a blast when he’s 7 or 8.

We had a great birthday party for my mom, Edie, last weekend. Pictures are here.
We all got to see people in the area who we don’t see much. Some hadn’t been seen in years. I think she had a great time. Wendy and Madeline came down from Bellingham as well. It was quite a treat.
